Hello! I’m Julia, a qualified Art and Design teacher with 25 years experience teaching Art and Design from Primary through to GCSE and A level.

There is a reason I have stayed with Art teaching all these years - I LOVE IT! And I’ve had the privilege of teaching Art and Design for decades. I’m a firm believer in Art Education and I’m passionate about nurturing the creativity in us all and enabling everyone interested in Art and Design to achieve their true potential!

I have an up to date, enhanced DBS certificate. As a former Head of Art at a small independent school in Lancashire, I have worked extensively in the state and private sector here in the UK and internationally, specialising in GCSE and A Level Art. It’s been a dream to establish my own Art school and I have the pleasure of providing the local community with Art tuition and holding fun Paint! events across Lancashire and Greater Manchester.

💛 The aim of my art sessions is to allow children, young people and adults to raise their confidence in Art, build on skills, let their imagination run free and instil/ignite a lifelong love of creativity…

🧡 Mino Saturday Art Club held in my little home studio - The Mino Studio! Please take a look at the schedule below.
💚 The themes and techniques will be varied from week to week and a typical term will include watercolour painting, mixed media, collage, dyes and inks, acrylic painting, pastel work, shading and mark-making, textiles and observational drawing.
🩷For ages 6-10 yrs the session is led by the teacher from start to finish.
🩵 For the teen/tween class students choose completely what they wish to do. We work together to discuss how this is going to happen and students receive full tuition and guidance throughout.
Classes are small, with a maximum of 10 to ensure lots of 1-1 help for each student.

💛 Art Camp Holiday sessions will fall into the school half term weeks and holidays. These sessions are very popular and sell out super quick!

💚 Bespoke painting session for corporate events, CPD, team building/well-being and hen party’s/celebrations. I provide all the equipment, materials and deliver step by step bespoke tuition to enable all taking part a truly fabulous outcome.

💛 Private lessons for adults and children. I offer one to one hourly sessions for all ages. For GCSE Art, I offer portfolio tuition and help to Year 10 and 11 students to enable them to get back on track or simply to further enhance their portfolio.

Once tickets are booked they are non refundable and non transferable.
